Plate of Mackerel linocut

The mackerel is my favourite fish to be found in UK waters and I'm working on a series of prints in celebration of this fine beast.

This print was printed in reduction (with the lino carved away between each layer of colour) from one piece of lino, using four colours of oil based ink on Somerset Satin cotton rag.

Due to the hand made nature of this method of printing, there will be slight variation between each print.
